How To Manage Your Cleaning Time Effectively
02Sep 2014
Domestic cleaning is not the kind of thing that anyone really enjoys. It is the sort of thing that needs to be done, and if you are not one for paying for things that you can do yourself, then you need to find out how to limit the boredom, stress and fatigue that your home cleaning can bring about. You will find that there are a few things that you can do to ensure that you are not letting the cleaning get on top of you, and that some of them are pretty easy processes to put in to motion. You will also find that there is a lot that can be done to reduce the boredom aspect of the house cleaning, that will often be a big part of making the process take longer than you may want it to. It is important that you take a good look at the ideas below, and implement them, or versions of them in to your processes if you feel that they will work. Stick with them for a while before you decide as to whether you like them as permanent changes to your cleaning routine, as they can take a while to make sense properly.First off, you need to ensure that you are only spending the time that you have to on the cleaning. Cut out any of the parts of the job that get in the way, like spending ages untangling the power cable for the vacuum cleaner, or trying to carry the heavy vacuum cleaner up the stairs, when it is too big for the rooms anyway. Your cleaning materials need to suit your needs, and this men’s having a look at those parts of the cleaning that feel like more of a pain than they are worth, and ensuring that you can get them sorted so that you are cutting a few minutes of messing about off of each process in the cleaning. You will find that there are a few different things that you can do to ensure that this happens, and sometimes it is as much about looking at the process that you are using as anything else. If you have a lot of hard flooring in the house, and it takes ages to mop them, then it might be worth looking into buying a steam cleaner. You may find that that method is even more hassle, but it is worth looking in to either way!Have a think about how regularly you do the jobs that you need to, and why they take as long as they do. For the most part, the length of a Job will be determined by the amount of dirt that needs to be cleaned up, and the dirt that needs to be cleaned will usually be settling between cleans. So, if you clean more often, then you will have to deal with less dirt, and that means that you will end up taking less time when you do that job. You may be thinking that this point is paradoxical in that the more often you clean the more you are cleaning, but the fact is that if each of these cleans takes five minutes rather than ten or fifteen, then the effect will be that the job has less of an impact on your awareness of the cleaning. Basically, you won’t get as bored, or feel like it is such a burden.
