Fulham Cleaners Modern Slavery Statement

This Modern Slavery Statement sets out the steps Fulham Cleaners has taken, and continues to take, to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains. We are committed to conducting our business ethically, transparently, and in full respect of human rights.

Our Commitment and Zero-Tolerance Policy

Fulham Cleaners has a strict zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery, including forced labour, bonded labour, child labour, servitude, and human trafficking. We will not knowingly engage with any individual, contractor, or organisation that is involved in, or benefits from, such practices.

All employees, contractors, and suppliers are expected to uphold the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct. Any breach of our modern slavery policy is treated as a serious matter and may result in disciplinary action, termination of contracts, or referral to relevant authorities where appropriate.

Our Business and Supply Chains

Fulham Cleaners provides professional cleaning services to residential and commercial customers. Our supply chains include the procurement of cleaning products, equipment, workwear, and associated services such as facilities support and subcontracted labour.

We recognise that risks of modern slavery can exist at multiple tiers of the supply chain, particularly where lower-skilled labour or outsourced services are involved. We are committed to understanding and reducing these risks through active management, oversight, and continual improvement.

Supplier Standards and Due Diligence

We expect all suppliers and subcontractors to share our commitment to eradicating modern slavery. As part of our due diligence process, we assess new suppliers against ethical, legal, and labour standards, including compliance with local employment laws and international human rights principles.

Suppliers are required to confirm that they do not use forced, bonded, or involuntary labour and that they implement fair working conditions, lawful wages, and safe working environments. Where appropriate, we require written confirmation of compliance with our modern slavery and human rights expectations.

Supplier Audits and Monitoring

Fulham Cleaners undertakes proportionate, risk-based audits and reviews of key suppliers and subcontractors. These audits may include site visits, document checks, worker interviews conducted in a respectful manner, and verification of labour practices and right-to-work documentation.

If concerns are identified, we will work with the supplier to develop and implement a corrective action plan within a clear timeframe. Where a supplier is unwilling or unable to rectify issues, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the relationship.

Reporting Channels and Whistleblowing

We encourage employees, contractors, suppliers, and any third parties to report concerns or suspicions of modern slavery or human trafficking within our operations or supply chains. Reports can be made in confidence to line managers or senior management, and individuals are protected from retaliation for raising genuine concerns.

All reports are taken seriously and investigated promptly and sensitively. Where necessary, we will involve relevant authorities and specialist organisations to ensure that any victims are supported and that appropriate action is taken.

Training and Awareness

We are committed to raising awareness of modern slavery risks among our workforce and key suppliers. Training and guidance are provided to relevant staff, particularly those involved in recruitment, procurement, and supplier management, so that they can recognise warning signs and take appropriate action.

We also communicate our expectations to suppliers and contractors, reinforcing our zero-tolerance stance and the consequences of non-compliance.

Continuous Improvement and Annual Review

Fulham Cleaners recognises that combating modern slavery is an ongoing responsibility. We are committed to continuously improving our policies, due diligence, and monitoring arrangements to respond to evolving risks and best practice.

This Modern Slavery Statement is reviewed annually by our management team to assess the effectiveness of our actions, update our risk assessment, and identify further measures to strengthen our approach. Updates to this statement are approved at a senior level and communicated throughout the business and to key suppliers.

This statement reflects Fulham Cleaners commitment to conducting business responsibly and with respect for the dignity and rights of all people involved in our operations and supply chains.
